3 Şi m-a dus, în Duhul, într-o(A) pustie. Şi am văzut o femeie şezând pe(B) o fiară de culoare stacojie, plină cu nume(C) de hulă şi(D) avea şapte capete şi zece(E) coarne. 4 Femeia aceasta era(F) îmbrăcată cu purpură şi stacojiu, era împodobită(G) cu aur, cu pietre scumpe şi cu mărgăritare. Ţinea(H) în mână un potir de aur, plin(I) de spurcăciuni şi de necurăţiile curviei ei. 5 Pe frunte purta scris un nume, o taină(J): „Babilonul cel(K) mare, mama(L) curvelor şi spurcăciunilor pământului”.

3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit(A) into a wilderness.(B) There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet(C) beast that was covered with blasphemous names(D) and had seven heads and ten horns.(E) 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls.(F) She held a golden cup(G) in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.(H) 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:(I)
