6 Ei au(A) putere să închidă cerul, ca să nu cadă ploaie în zilele prorociei lor, şi au(B) putere să prefacă apele în sânge şi să lovească pământul cu orice fel de urgie ori de câte ori vor voi. 7 Când îşi vor(C) isprăvi mărturisirea lor, fiara(D) care se ridică din(E) Adânc va(F) face război cu ei, îi va birui şi-i va omorî. 8 Şi trupurile lor moarte vor zăcea în piaţa cetăţii(G) celei mari, care, în înţeles duhovnicesc, se cheamă „Sodoma” şi „Egipt”, unde(H) a fost răstignit şi Domnul lor.

6 They have power to shut up the heavens(A) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(B) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(C) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(D) that comes up from the Abyss(E) will attack them,(F) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(G)—which is figuratively called Sodom(H) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(I)
