11 Gott sagt: »An jenem Tag werde ich das Reich von König David wieder aufbauen. Jetzt gleicht es zwar einem verfallenen Haus, doch dann richte ich die umgestürzten Wände wieder auf und schließe die Risse in der Mauer. Ja, ich lasse es wieder in seinem alten Glanz erstehen. 12 Die Israeliten werden in Besitz nehmen, was vom Gebiet der Edomiter übrig geblieben ist. Auch über all die anderen Völker, die ich zu meinem Eigentum erklärt habe, werden sie ihre Herrschaft ausdehnen. Dafür sorge ich, der Herr. Mein Wort gilt!

and raise up its ruins
and rebuild it as in the days of old,
12 (B)that they may possess the remnant of Edom

declares the Lord who does this.
