Amos 4:6-8

⁶“But I gave you also ^(A)cleanness of teeth in all your cities,
And lack of bread in all your places;
Yet you have ^(B)not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.
⁷“Furthermore, I ^(C)withheld the rain from you
While there were still three months until harvest.
Then I would send rain on one city,
But on ^(D)another city I would not send rain;
One part would be rained on,
While the part not rained on would dry up.
⁸So the people of two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink ^(E)water,
But would ^(F)not be satisfied;
Yet you have ^(G)not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

declares the Lord.

I made it rain on one city,
I withheld rain from another city.
One part was rained upon,
And where it did not rain the part withered.
⁸So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water,
But they were not satisfied;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
