Amos 2:3-5

3 with its king and leaders.
I, the Lord, have spoken!
Judgment on Judah
4 The Lord said:
I will punish Judah
for countless crimes,
and I won't change my mind.
They have rejected my teachings
and refused to obey me.
They were led astray
by the same false gods
their ancestors worshiped.
5 Now I will send fire on Judah
and destroy the fortresses
of Jerusalem.

3 And I will cut off (A)the judge from its midst,
And slay all its princes with him,”
Says the Lord.
Judgment on Judah
4 Thus says the Lord:
“For three transgressions of (B)Judah, and for four,
I will not turn away its punishment,
(C)Because they have despised the law of the Lord,
And have not kept His commandments.
(D)Their lies lead them astray,
Lies (E)which their fathers followed.
5 (F)But I will send a fire upon Judah,
And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

3 (A)I will cut off the ruler from its midst,
and will kill (B)all its princes[a] with him,”
says the Lord.

and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because (D)they have rejected the law of the Lord,
and have not kept his statutes,
but (E)their lies have led them astray,
those after which their fathers walked.
5 So (F)I will send a fire upon Judah,
and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.”
