3 And there he spent three months, and when (A)a plot was formed against him by the Jews as he was about to set sail for (B)Syria, he decided to return through (C)Macedonia. 4 And [a]he was accompanied by Sopater of (D)Berea, the son of Pyrrhus, and by (E)Aristarchus and Secundus of the (F)Thessalonians, and (G)Gaius of (H)Derbe, and (I)Timothy, and (J)Tychicus and (K)Trophimus of [b](L)Asia. 5 Now these had gone on ahead and were waiting for (M)us at (N)Troas.
