¹⁸ And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized,

¹⁴ But their minds were hardened. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, the same veil is still there; it is not unveiled since in Christ it is set aside.^(A)

¹⁶ And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.’^(A)
