Saul’s Baptism

¹⁰ There was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias, and the Lord said to him in a vision, ‘Ananias.’

‘Here I am, Lord,’ he replied.^(A)

¹⁷ Ananias went and entered the house. He placed his hands on him and said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were travelling, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’^(A)

²² They said, ‘Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who has a good reputation with the whole Jewish nation, was divinely instructed by a holy angel to call you to his house and to hear a message from you.’^(A)
