¹⁰ and rescued him from all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And he appointed him to be ruling over Egypt, and over his whole house. ¹¹ And a famine came over all Egypt and Canaan, and a great affliction. And our fathers were not finding food. ¹² But Jacob, having heard-of grain being in Egypt, sent-forth our fathers first.
