¹³ The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ancestors,^(A) has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied before Pilate,^(B) though he had decided to release him.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, ‘Go, for this man is my chosen instrument^(A) to take my name to Gentiles,^(B) kings, and Israelites.^(C)

¹⁶ But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.^(A)
