Arrival at Rome

¹¹ After three months we sailed in ^(A)an Alexandrian ship whose figurehead was the ^[a]Twin Brothers, which had wintered at the island.

⁶ There the centurion found ^(A)an Alexandrian ship sailing to Italy, and he put us on board.

⁴ Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that ^(A)an idol is nothing in the world, ^(B)and that there is no other God but one.

⁹ Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen.

¹⁶ Then the men ^(A)feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice to the Lord and took vows.

⁵ Then the mariners were afraid; and every man cried out to his god, and threw the cargo that was in the ship into the sea, to lighten ^[a]the load. But Jonah had gone down ^(A)into the lowest parts of the ship, had lain down, and was fast asleep.
