Festus Consults King Agrippa

¹³ A few days later King Agrippa and Bernice arrived at Caesarea^(A) to pay their respects to Festus.

¹⁰ After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus^(A) came down from Judea.

²² When he landed at Caesarea,^(A) he went up to Jerusalem and greeted the church and then went down to Antioch.^(B)

²⁰ He had been quarreling with the people of Tyre and Sidon;^(A) they now joined together and sought an audience with him. After securing the support of Blastus, a trusted personal servant of the king, they asked for peace, because they depended on the king’s country for their food supply.^(B)

⁴⁷ And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
