²⁵ But concerning the Gentiles who have believed, we wrote, ^(A)having decided that they should keep from ^[a]meat sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled and from sexual immorality.” ²⁶ Then Paul ^[b]took the men, and the next day, ^(B)purifying himself along with them, ^(C)went into the temple giving notice of the completion of the days of purification, until the sacrifice was offered for each one of them.

²⁷ Now when ^(D)the seven days were almost over, ^(E)the Jews from ^[c](F)Asia, upon noticing him in the temple, began to throw all the crowd into confusion and laid hands on him,
