Acts 2:40-42

⁴⁰ And he testified and exhorted them with many other words, saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse generation!”

⁴¹ Then those who gladly received his Word were baptized. And the same day there were added to them about three thousand souls.

⁴² And they continued in the Apostles’ doctrine, and fellowship, and breaking of bread, and prayers.
