18 After this, he^[a] left Athens and went to Corinth,^(A)

The Eloquent Apollos

²⁴ A Jew named Apollos,^(A) a native Alexandrian, an eloquent man who was powerful in the use of the Scriptures, arrived in Ephesus.

¹² What I am saying is this: Each of you says, “I’m with Paul,” or “I’m with Apollos,”^(A) or “I’m with Cephas,”^(B) or “I’m with Christ.”^(C)

The Role of God’s Servants

⁵ What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, and each has the role the Lord has given. ⁶ I planted,^(A) Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
