⁵ When they reached Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in ^(A)the synagogues of the Jews; and they also had ^(B)John as their helper.

¹⁴ But going on from Perga, they arrived at ^(A)Pisidian ^(B)Antioch, and on ^(C)the Sabbath day they went into ^(D)the synagogue and sat down.

Acceptance and Opposition

14 In ^(A)Iconium ^(B)they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a way ^(C)that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of ^(D)Greeks.

¹³ And on ^(A)the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to a riverside, where we were thinking that there was a place of prayer; and we sat down and began speaking to the women who had assembled.

² And ^(A)according to Paul’s custom, he ^[a]visited them, and for three ^(B)Sabbaths reasoned with them from ^(C)the Scriptures,

^10 (A)The brothers immediately sent ^(B)Paul and Silas away by night to ^(C)Berea, ^[a]and when they arrived, they went into ^(D)the synagogue of the Jews.

⁴ And Paul was reasoning ^(A)in the synagogue every ^(B)Sabbath and trying to persuade ^(C)Jews and Greeks.

¹⁹ They came to ^(A)Ephesus, and he left them there. Now he himself entered ^(B)the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.

⁸ And he entered ^(A)the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, having discussions and persuading them ^(B)about the kingdom of God.
