47 For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘(A)I have appointed You as a (B)light [a]to the Gentiles,
That You may [b]bring salvation to the end of the earth.’”
48 When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying (C)the word of [c]the Lord; and all who (D)had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And (E)the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region.
