³⁹ and that in Him, ^(A)everyone who believes is justified from all things which you could not be justified from ^[a]through the Law of Moses.

²⁰ because ^(A)by the works ^[a]of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for ^[b](B)through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

The Righteousness of God through Faith

²¹ But now apart ^[a]from the Law ^(A)the righteousness of God has been manifested, being ^(B)witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

^9 (A)not of works, so that ^(B)no one may boast.

²⁰ But are you willing to recognize, ^(A)you foolish fellow, that ^(B)faith without works is useless?

²⁴ You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

²⁶ For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also ^(A)faith without works is dead.
