³⁹ and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.^(A)

²⁰ For no one will be justified^[a] in His sight by the works of the law,^(A) because the knowledge of sin comes through the law.^(B)

⁹ This is a symbol for the present time, during which gifts and sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the worshiper’s conscience.^(A)
