¹² Then Peter went to the house of Mary the mother of John whose other name was Mark. Many of the Lord's followers had come together there and were praying.

²⁵ And after Barnabas and Saul had done the work they were sent to do, they went back to Jerusalem^[a] with John, whose other name was Mark.

¹³ Paul and the others left Paphos and sailed to Perga in Pamphylia. But John^[a] left them and went back to Jerusalem.

³⁷ Barnabas wanted to take along John, whose other name was Mark. ^38 (A) But Paul did not want to, because Mark had left them in Pamphylia and had stopped working with them.

³⁹ Paul and Barnabas argued, then each of them went his own way. Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus,

^10 (A) Aristarchus is in jail with me. He sends greetings to you, and so does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. You have already been told to welcome Mark, if he visits you.
