⁵ “One day in Joppa,” he said, “while I was praying, I saw a vision—a huge sheet, let down by its four corners from the sky. ⁶ Inside the sheet were all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds which we are not to eat.^{[a] 7} And I heard a voice say, ‘Kill and eat whatever you wish.’
