Cornelius’s Vision

10 There was a man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment.^(A)

¹⁰ After^(A) he had seen the vision, we^[a] immediately made efforts to set out for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to evangelize them.

¹² After Festus conferred with his council, he replied, “You have appealed to Caesar; to Caesar you will go!”

²⁵ Now I realized that he had not done anything deserving of death, but when he himself appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him.^(A)
