3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

3 But the Lord is faithful,(A) and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.(B) 4 We have confidence(C) in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts(D) into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
Warning Against Idleness
6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,(E) we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from(F) every believer who is idle and disruptive(G) and does not live according to the teaching[a] you received from us.(H)
