2 Timothy 2:3-5

^3 (A)Suffer hardship with me, as a good ^(B)soldier of ^(C)Christ Jesus. ⁴ No soldier in active service ^(D)entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him. ⁵ And if someone likewise ^(E)competes as an athlete, he is not ^[a]crowned as victor unless he competes according to the rules.
