⁴⁶They all ·become afraid [lose heart/their courage]
and ·tremble in [come trembling from] their ·hiding places [fortresses; strongholds].

⁴⁷“The Lord lives!
    May my Rock be ·praised [blessed]!
    Praise God, the Rock, ·who saves me […of my salvation]!
⁴⁸God gives me ·victory [revenge; vengeance] over my enemies
    and brings ·people [the nations] under ·my rule [me].
