The Birth of Solomon

24 Then David comforted(A) his wife Bathsheba; he went to her and slept with her. She gave birth to a son and named[a] him Solomon.[b](B) The Lord loved him, 25 and he sent a message through the prophet Nathan, who named[c] him Jedidiah,[d] because of the Lord.
