²⁰ When Abner and twenty of his men came to Hebron, David entertained them with a great feast.

³ In the third year of his reign, he gave a banquet for all his nobles and officials. He invited all the military officers of Persia and Media as well as the princes and nobles of the provinces.

⁵⁴ Then Jacob offered a sacrifice to God there on the mountain and invited everyone to a covenant feast. After they had eaten, they spent the night on the mountain.

³⁰ So Isaac prepared a covenant feast to celebrate the treaty, and they ate and drank together.
