2 Peter 1:18-21

¹⁸ and we ourselves heard this ^[a]declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the ^(A)holy mountain.

¹⁹ And so we have ^(B)the prophetic word made more ^(C)sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to ^(D)a lamp shining in a dark place, until the ^(E)day dawns and the ^(F)morning star arises ^(G)in your hearts. ²⁰ But ^(H)know this first of all, that ^(I)no prophecy of Scripture ^[b]becomes a matter of ^[c]someone’s own interpretation, ²¹ for ^(J)no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men ^(K)moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
