²³ So ^[a]Joram ^[b]turned back and fled, and he said to Ahaziah, “^(A)There is treachery, Ahaziah!” ²⁴ Then ^(B)Jehu ^[c]drew his bow with his full strength and ^[d]shot ^[e]Joram between his arms; and the arrow went ^[f]through his heart, and he sank in his chariot. ²⁵ And Jehu said to Bidkar his officer, “Pick him up and ^(C)throw him on the ^[g]property of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember, when ^[h]you and I were riding together after his father Ahab, that the ^(D)Lord brought this ^(E)pronouncement against him:
