¹⁷ I will make ^(A)justice the measuring line
And righteousness the level;
Then ^(B)hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
And the waters will overflow the secret place.

¹¹ But ^[a](A)pelican and hedgehog will possess it,
And ^[b]owl and raven will dwell in it;
And He will stretch over it the ^(B)line of ^[c]desolation
And the ^[d]plumb line of emptiness.

⁸ The Lord determined to destroy
The wall of the daughter of Zion.
He has ^(A)stretched out a line,
He has not restrained His hand from ^[a]destroying,
And He has ^(B)caused rampart and wall to mourn;
They have languished together.
