2 Kings 14:7-9

⁷ He killed ten thousand Edomites, in the Valley of Salt, and took the city of Sela by war, and called its name “Joktheel” to this day.

⁸ Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, “Come. Let us face one another.”

⁹ Then Jehoash, the king of Israel, sent to Amaziah, king of Judah, saying, “The thistle that is in Lebanon, sent to the cedar that is in Lebanon, saying, “Give your daughter to my son as a wife. And the wild beast that was in Lebanon went and trod down the thistle.
