¹⁴ And she looked, and behold, the king was standing ^(A)by the pillar, according to the custom, with the commanders and the ^[a]trumpeters beside the king; and ^(B)all the people of the land were glad and blew trumpets. Then Athaliah ^(C)tore her clothes and cried, “^(D)Treason! Treason!”

^3 (A)Then the king stood by the pillar and cut a covenant before Yahweh, ^(B)to walk after Yahweh, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to establish the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people ^[a]entered into the covenant.

^16 (A)And they stood at their stations according to the legal judgment for them, according to the law of Moses the man of God; the priests splashed the blood which they received from the hand of the Levites.
