Hoshea Reigns in Israel

17 In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah, ^(A)Hoshea the son of Elah began to reign in Samaria over Israel, and he reigned nine years.

³⁰ Then Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah and struck him down and put him to death and reigned in his place, ^(A)in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
