⁴ I am acting with ^(A)great boldness toward you; ^(B)I have great pride in you; ^(C)I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy.

¹⁴ For ^(A)whatever boasts I made to him about you, I was not put to shame. But just as everything we said to you ^(B)was true, so also our boasting before Titus has proved true.

² for I know your readiness, ^(A)of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready ^(B)since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them. ³ But ^(C)I am sending^[a] the brothers so that our boasting about you may not prove empty in this matter, so that you may be ready, ^(D)as I said you would be.
