¹⁶ Or ^(A)what agreement does ^[a]the temple of God have with idols? For we are ^[b](B)the temple of ^(C)the living God; just as God said,

¹⁷ so that ^(A)Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being ^(B)rooted and ^(C)grounded in love,

²⁴ As for you, see that what you heard ^(A)from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also ^(B)will remain in the Son and in the Father.

²⁰ Behold, I stand ^(A)at the door and ^(B)knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, ^(C)I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
