8 and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.(A) 9 Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing(B) to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the tribunal(C) of Christ,(D) so that each may be repaid(E) for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.

9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 (B)For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, (C)that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
