14 However, their minds were hardened. Even to this very day, the same veil remains unlifted during the reading of the old covenant,[a] since only in Christ is it set aside. 15 Indeed, to this very day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts.
16 However, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.
