¹³ For we write you nothing other than what you can read and also understand; I hope you will understand until the end—

² We have renounced the shameful, underhanded ways; we refuse to practice cunning or to falsify God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we commend ourselves to the conscience of everyone in the sight of God.^(A)

⁶ I pray that the partnership of your faith may become effective as you comprehend all the good that we^[a] share in Christ.^[b]

⁶ I hope you will find out that we have not failed.
