¹⁷ “And if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, to do according to all that I have Commanded you, and shall observe My Statutes and My Judgments,

¹⁸ “then will I establish the throne of your kingdom, just as I made the Covenant with David your father, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man to be ruler in Israel.’
