2 Chronicles 6:14-16

14 And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heaven nor in earth, which keepest covenant and mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their heart.
15 Thou that hast kept with thy servant David my father, that thou hast promised him: for thou spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine [a]hand, as appeareth this day.
16 Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father, that thou hast promised him, saying, Thou [b]shalt not want a man in my sight, that shall sit upon the throne of Israel, so that thy sons take heed to their ways to walk in my Law, as thou hast walked before me.
