^7 (A)Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
^8 (B)If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in ^[a]Sheol, behold, ^(C)You are there.
⁹ If I take up the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
¹⁰ Even there Your hand will ^(D)lead me,
And Your right hand will take hold of me.
¹¹ If I say, “Surely the ^(E)darkness will ^[b]overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
¹² Even ^(F)darkness is not dark ^[c]to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
^(G)Darkness and light are alike to You.

¹³ For You ^(H)created my innermost parts;
You ^(I)wove me in my mother’s womb.
¹⁴ I will give thanks to You, because ^[d]I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
^(J)Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
¹⁵ My ^[e](K)frame was not hidden from You
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully formed in the ^(L)depths of the earth;
¹⁶ Your ^(M)eyes have seen my formless substance;
And in ^(N)Your book were written
All the ^(O)days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

²⁴ Can a person ^(A)hide himself in hiding places
So that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“^(B)Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.
