11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all(A) the sons you have?”
“There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.”(B)
Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”
12 So he(C) sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome(D) features.
Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”

11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the (A)sheep.”
And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not [a]sit down till he comes here.” 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was (B)ruddy, (C)with [b]bright eyes, and good-looking. (D)And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!”
