1 Timoteo 2
Biblia del Jubileo
2 ¶ Amonesto pues, ante todo, a que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones, acciones de gracias, por todos los hombres;
2 por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia: que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad e integridad.
3 Porque esto es lo bueno y agradable delante del Dios Salvador nuestro;
4 el cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos, y que vengan al conocimiento de la verdad.
5 Porque hay un solo Dios, asimismo un solo Mediador entre Dios y los hombres, el hombre Cristo Jesús,
6 el cual se dio a sí mismo en redención por todos: el testimonio del cual fue confirmado en su tiempo;
13 Porque Adán fue formado primero; luego Eva;
14 y Adán no fue engañado, sino la mujer fue engañada en la rebelión;
15 pero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y en la santificación, y modestia.
1 Timothy 2
King James Version
2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
1 Timothy 2
English Standard Version
Pray for All People
2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 (A)for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and (B)dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and (C)it is pleasing in the sight of (D)God our Savior, 4 who desires (E)all people to be saved and (F)to come to (G)the knowledge of the truth. 5 For (H)there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man[a] Christ Jesus, 6 (I)who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is (J)the testimony given (K)at the proper time. 7 (L)For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle ((M)I am telling the truth, I am not lying), (N)a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
8 I desire then that (O)in every place the men should pray, (P)lifting (Q)holy hands without anger or quarreling; 9 likewise also (R)that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 (S)but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. 11 Let a woman learn quietly (T)with all submissiveness. 12 (U)I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 (V)For Adam was formed first, (W)then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but (X)the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet she will be saved through (Y)childbearing—if they continue in (Z)faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
