⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get ^(A)drunk at night. ⁸ But since ^(B)we are of the day, let us ^(C)be ^[a]sober, having put on the ^(D)breastplate of ^(E)faith and love, and as a ^(F)helmet, the ^(G)hope of salvation. ⁹ For God has not appointed us for ^(H)wrath, but for ^(I)obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
