⁵ For this reason, ^(A)when I could no longer endure it, I also ^(B)sent to ^[a]find out about your faith, for fear that ^(C)the tempter might have tempted you, and ^(D)our labor would be for nothing.

⁶ But now that ^(E)Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us good news of ^(F)your faith and love, and that you always ^(G)think kindly of us, longing to see us just as we also long to see you, ⁷ for this reason, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and affliction we were comforted about you through your faith;
