1 Thessalonians 2:4-6

⁴ But as ^(A)we have been approved by God ^(B)to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, ^(C)not as pleasing men, but God ^(D)who tests our hearts. ⁵ For ^(E)neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a ^[a]cloak for covetousness—^(F)God is witness. ^6 (G)Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when ^(H)we might have ^(I)made demands ^(J)as apostles of Christ.
