¹⁰ and to wait^(A) for his Son^(B) from heaven, whom he raised from the dead^(C)—Jesus, who rescues us^(D) from the coming wrath.^(E)

⁹ For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord^(A) Jesus Christ,^{(B) 10} who died for us,^(C) so that whether we are awake or asleep,^(D) we may live together with him.^{(E) 11} Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.
