²¹ Then David came to ^(A)the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow David, and who had been left ^(B)at the brook Besor. And they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him. And when David came near to the people he greeted them.

13 Let ^(A)brotherly love continue.

¹⁰ But David pursued, he and four hundred men. ^(A)Two hundred stayed behind, who were too exhausted to cross the brook Besor.

¹⁵ And he came to the men of Succoth and said, “Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, about whom you taunted me, saying, ^(A)‘Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna already in your hand, that we should give bread to your men who are exhausted?’”
