9 Y David supo que Saúl tramaba el mal contra él; así que le dijo al sacerdote Abiatar(A): Trae el efod(B). 10 Entonces David dijo: Oh Señor, Dios de Israel, tu siervo ciertamente ha oído que Saúl procura venir a Keila para destruir la ciudad por causa mía. 11 ¿Me entregarán en su mano los hombres de Keila? ¿Descenderá Saúl tal como tu siervo ha oído? Oh Señor, Dios de Israel, te ruego que lo hagas saber a tu siervo. Y el Señor dijo: Descenderá.

9 When David learned that Saul was plotting against him, he said to Abiathar(A) the priest, “Bring the ephod.(B)” 10 David said, “Lord, God of Israel, your servant has heard definitely that Saul plans to come to Keilah and destroy the town on account of me. 11 Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me to him? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? Lord, God of Israel, tell your servant.”
And the Lord said, “He will.”
