¹³ Then David and his men, who were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah and went wherever they could. And it was told to Saul that David had fled from Keilah. And he ceased his journey.

¹⁴ And David stayed in the wilderness, in the strongholds, and remained on a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day; but God did not deliver him into his hand.

¹⁵ And David saw that Saul had come out to seek his life. And David was in the wilderness of Ziph, in the forest.
